Our Commitment
Lipo.com is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Accessibility Features
Our website includes the following accessibility features:
Navigation and Structure. All pages use semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy. The site can be navigated using keyboard-only controls. Skip navigation links are provided to bypass repetitive content. All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard and clearly indicate focus state.
Visual Design. Text and background colors meet WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements. Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. The site does not rely on color alone to convey information. All images include descriptive alternative text.
Content. All medical content is written in clear, plain language where possible. Medical terminology is explained in context and linked to our comprehensive glossary. Form fields include descriptive labels. Error messages clearly identify the issue and suggest corrections.
Media. Informational graphics include text alternatives or descriptions. The site does not use auto-playing audio or video content.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Specifically:
- Some third-party content embedded on the site may not meet all accessibility standards.
- Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate these.
- Before-and-after photo galleries rely on visual comparison; we provide text descriptions of the results shown.
We are actively working to resolve these issues.
