Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Your privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We believe you should have full control over your personal information, and we make it easy to exercise your rights.
Your Rights Under CCPA
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. These rights include the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion of personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
While Lipo.com does not currently sell personal information to third parties, we provide this opt-out mechanism to ensure full compliance with CCPA requirements and to give you peace of mind. If our data practices change in the future, any opt-out request you submit will be honored automatically.

What Information May Be Sold
Under the CCPA, the “sale” of personal information is defined broadly. It includes not only traditional sales for monetary consideration but also sharing personal information with third parties for valuable consideration of any kind, including business benefits.
Lipo.com does not currently sell personal information in any form. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks. When you submit an inquiry to a surgeon through our platform, your contact information is shared with that specific surgeon to fulfill your request — this is considered a service provision, not a sale under CCPA. For a complete description of the categories of personal information we collect and how we use them, please see our Privacy Policy.
How We Respond to Requests
When you submit an opt-out request, we will confirm receipt via email within 10 business days. We will process your request and complete any necessary changes within 45 calendar days of receiving your verified request, as required by law.
If we need additional time (up to an additional 45 days), we will notify you of the reason and extension period in writing. Once we process your request, we will not sell your personal information unless you subsequently provide explicit authorization.
Verification Process
To protect your privacy and prevent fraudulent requests, we need to verify your identity before processing an opt-out request. We verify your identity by matching the information you provide in the opt-out form against information we already have in our records.
If we cannot verify your identity using the information provided, we may ask you to supply additional information for verification purposes only. Any additional information collected for verification will be used solely for that purpose and will be deleted after verification is complete.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. If an authorized agent submits a request, we may require the agent to provide proof of written authorization from you, and we may still verify your identity directly to confirm the request is legitimate.
To designate an authorized agent, provide them with a signed written authorization that includes your name, the agent's name, and a clear statement authorizing the agent to act on your behalf for CCPA purposes.
Non-Discrimination
Lipo.com will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, provide a different quality of service, or retaliate in any way because you exercised your privacy rights.
Your ability to use Lipo.com, access educational content, search for surgeons, and submit inquiries will not be affected by submitting an opt-out request.
