Andrew Schneider, MD

Andrew M. Schneider, M.D., F.A.C.S., hails from Richmond, Virginia, where his journey began with a degree in architecture from Princeton University. This artistic foundation seamlessly transitioned into a medical career, culminating in his graduation from the Medical College of Virginia in 1991, where he earned membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Schneider's surgical training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine was marked by a commitment to both excellence and innovation. His time as the Bradshaw Surgical Research Fellow and subsequent plastic surgery training equipped him with cutting-edge techniques in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. Notably, he has traveled to India to perform life-changing cleft lip surgeries and has participated in humanitarian missions across Ecuador, Peru, and the former Soviet Union.

As Chief of Plastic Surgery at Forsyth Medical Center and a former President of the North Carolina Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Schneider blends clinical expertise with a passion for philanthropy.
