Ashley Kerekes, MD

Dr. Ashley Kerekes, a native of West Virginia, brings a unique blend of surgical expertise and compassionate care to her practice in plastic and reconstructive surgery. After earning her medical degree from West Virginia University, she pursued her passion for plastic surgery through a competitive six-year residency at the University of Kentucky, where her dedication to teaching and research was recognized with multiple awards.

At Hardin Memorial Hospital, Dr. Kerekes founded the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program, significantly impacting the local community as the Medical Director for five years. Her commitment to patient experience earned her the Highest Overall Patient Experience Award in 2019 and 2020.

Now with Carolina Plastic Surgery, she plays a pivotal role in the Spartanburg Regional Comprehensive Breast Cancer team and initiated the Reconstruct the Runway event, celebrating the journeys of breast cancer reconstruction patients. Dr. Kerekes is dedicated to guiding her patients through their surgical transformations with empathy and understanding, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
