Dr. Bernard Kopchinski, MD, brings a wealth of experience to the field of plastic surgery, shaped by nearly three decades of service in the U.S. Army. His journey began in the enlisted ranks and evolved as he became a Special Forces Medic, where he honed his skills in high-stakes environments. After earning his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University, he completed a General Surgery residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, followed by his pivotal role at the US Army Institute of Surgical Research Burn Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Kopchinski further specialized in plastic surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he developed a passion for reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. Since retiring from military service in 2012, he has dedicated himself to enhancing the lives of San Antonio residents, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for cosmetic transformations.
