Dr. Christopher M. Shale is a dedicated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Intermountain Health’s McKay-Dee Dermatology & Plastic Surgery clinic in Ogden, Utah. His clinical expertise encompasses breast reconstruction, skin cancer treatment, and cosmetic surgery, with a commitment to restoring not only health but also confidence in his patients.

A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Shale's journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from UC Berkeley. His medical career was shaped by his service in the U.S. Navy, where he completed his surgical internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego and later served with a Marine Helicopter squadron, deploying to Southeast Asia and Iraq. Following his military service, he honed his surgical skills through rigorous training in General Surgery and a Plastic Surgery fellowship at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center.

With a compassionate approach and a strong focus on patient communication, Dr. Shale prides himself on fostering trust and understanding with those he treats.
