Dr. John Wakelin, MD, FACS, embodies a unique blend of surgical expertise and philosophical insight. After earning his undergraduate degree from Xavier University, where he delved into both science and philosophy, he honed his surgical skills through a rigorous General Surgery Residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center, followed by a competitive Plastic Surgery Residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. His commitment to education shines through his role as Clinical Faculty at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health, where he passionately mentors the next generation of plastic surgeons.

Recognized as one of “America’s Top Plastic Surgeons” since 2006, Dr. Wakelin has specialized training in breast augmentation, having partnered with Mentor Worldwide LLC to master advanced techniques.
