Dr. Marissa Baca embodies a blend of exceptional skill and deep-rooted community commitment as she returns to her Michigan roots in Bloomfield and Birmingham. A Clinton Township native, she excelled early on, graduating as valedictorian before securing a spot in the esteemed MD Medical Scholars program, which seamlessly transitioned her into medical school following her undergraduate studies. Her dedication to academic excellence earned her the Michigan State University Trustees Award for the highest graduating GPA.

At Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Dr. Baca’s academic prowess was further recognized with her induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. She honed her surgical expertise during a rigorous six-year plastic surgery residency at Spectrum Health/MSU, where she mastered the intricate artistry of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
