Michael Cheung, MD

Dr. Michael Cheung is a dedicated surgeon whose journey began in the vibrant landscapes of South Florida, where he completed his high school education. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Emory University before returning home to obtain his medical degree from the University of Miami. His commitment to excellence propelled him through a rigorous five-year general surgery residency and a two-year research fellowship at the same institution, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Further honing his skills at Duke University, Dr. Cheung immersed himself in the intricacies of plastic and reconstructive surgery, training alongside some of the field’s foremost experts. His scholarly contributions are significant, with over 50 manuscripts and multiple textbook chapters to his name, reflecting his passion for advancing medical knowledge.

As a double board-certified surgeon, Dr. Cheung seamlessly blends artistry with surgical precision, focusing on both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures.
