Dr. Richard Klein, MD, MPH, CLT-LANA, FACS, is an innovative plastic surgeon whose expertise spans both advanced reconstructive techniques and lymphedema care. With degrees in medicine and public health from Tufts University School of Medicine, he has cultivated a comprehensive understanding of patient needs that extends beyond the operating room. His surgical training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center laid a solid foundation, followed by a specialized fellowship in trauma and burn research, where he was honored with a K08 Grant from the NIH.
Dr. Klein's commitment to advancing the field is evident through his impressive portfolio of nearly 100 scholarly contributions, including clinical trials and peer-reviewed publications. Notably, he led the pioneering team that performed Florida's first Lymph Node Transfer for lymphedema in 2013.
