Toby Meltzer, MD

Dr. Toby Meltzer, a graduate of LSU Medical School in 1983, has dedicated his career to advancing the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery, particularly in the realm of gender-affirming procedures. With board certifications in both General and Plastic Surgery, he has been at the forefront of this specialty since the early 1990s, shaping the lives of countless patients through his meticulous approach and compassionate care.

Beginning his career at Oregon Health Sciences University, Dr. Meltzer transitioned to private practice in Portland in 1996, later expanding his expertise to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he holds privileges at multiple healthcare facilities. Each year, he performs approximately 200 Genital Reconstruction Surgeries (GRS), specializing in both male-to-female and female-to-male procedures, collaborating with urologists and OB/GYNs to ensure optimal outcomes. Additionally, his offerings include Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) and various cosmetic enhancements, all aimed at helping individuals realize their personal aspirations with dignity and precision.
