Derek Cody, MD, FACS

Dr. Derek Cody, MD, FACS, embodies a patient-centered philosophy in his practice of plastic surgery, prioritizing listening to individual needs to tailor his care. With a foundation built at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Cleveland Clinic Foundation, he honed his skills further through a rigorous microsurgery fellowship in New York. His diverse training spans both coasts, having established a thriving practice in Southern California before returning to his roots in Northeast Ohio as part of Crystal Clinic Plastic Surgeons.

A strong advocate for education and outreach, Dr. Cody not only contributes to advancing the field through research and publications but also dedicates time to medical missions in South America, Haiti, and Africa, where he shares knowledge and provides critical surgical care. Outside the operating room, he channels his creativity into restoring high-performance muscle cars with his twin brother, showcasing the same precision and passion he applies to his surgical artistry.
