Lauren Fischer, MD

Dr. Lauren Hewell Fischer combines a profound appreciation for art with her surgical expertise, having graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan with a degree in Art History before pursuing medicine. Her academic journey led her to Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, where she was honored with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, reflecting her commitment to ethical practice and leadership in healthcare.

Completing her residency in plastic surgery at Stanford Hospital & Clinics, Dr. Fischer not only honed her surgical skills but also served as Chief Resident, guiding the next generation of surgeons. Since entering practice in 2016, she has become an integral member of the Breast Program Leadership team at Delnor Hospital, specializing in a broad spectrum of procedures from breast augmentation to complex reconstructive surgeries.
