Lee Colony, MD

Dr. Lee Colony, MD, merges a rich background in pharmacy with extensive surgical training, having earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota and the University of Minnesota. His surgical expertise is honed through rigorous residencies in General and Plastic Surgery at Michigan State University, complemented by a specialized microsurgery fellowship abroad. As the Director of Michigan Plastic Surgery™ since 1996, Dr. Colony has played a pivotal role in advancing aesthetic procedures, particularly in body contouring and liposuction, evidenced by his contributions to educational courses and instructional DVDs for fellow surgeons.

Beyond his surgical practice, Dr. Colony is deeply involved in professional organizations, serving on boards such as the Lipoplasty Society of North America. His commitment to patient safety is underscored by his role as an inspector for outpatient surgery centers. Residing in East Lansing with his family and three dogs, he balances his professional dedication with a passion for the outdoors.
