Dr. Lloyd Hoffman, MD, FACS, is a plastic surgeon whose journey through medicine is as remarkable as his skill with a scalpel. Emerging from the prestigious New York Hospital-Weill Cornell University Medical Center, he made headlines as the youngest division chief in the nation. There, he played a pivotal role in shaping one of the leading plastic surgery programs, particularly during the groundbreaking merger with Columbia University.
With a heart for humanitarian work, Dr. Hoffman has dedicated efforts to assisting victims of terrorism in the Middle East, showcasing his commitment to global health. In 2004, he transitioned to private practice on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, before returning to academia in 2017 at Columbia’s midtown campus. Currently, he practices at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York, where he provides comprehensive care that spans aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
